shop@r156.com

Thinking about you brothers over there! Keep your heads up and we'll see you soon.

I hope we have seen the worst of this disaster and that the brave nuclear workers fight to get the situation under control. I hope to see you on a river soon!

We are with you, we pray for you ..

To the my friends of Japan,

I just want to send some words of encouragement towards you all in this challenging time. I think I speak for the kayaking community when I say we are all devastated to hear of this disaster. Although it is the hardest time now, I know you will prevail and overcome this hardship. I have only visited Japan once, but I found it to be an amazing place full of wonderful people and great whitewater. I wish you all the best, and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. See you on the river!

To all the fellow river people of Japan. Stay strong, we are all sending positive energy your way. Deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones, their homes, and possessions. We have a group of kayakers coming over from California in May to help with the efforts and we can't wait to meet all of you.

Much love and respect for all that the Japanese people have gone through. Keep your heads up and always remember to keep looking downstream.

My heart goes out to all of you! Paddlers, family, friends, and community. I am so sorry for your loss in the earthquake & Tsunami. As a Oregonian, I was reminded of the power of mother nature because the Tsunami reached our shores, but having watched many videos it is obvious this is was horrible tragedy in Japan. I have had a wonderful relationship with Japanese people for my entire paddling career and have the utmost belief that one of your strongest characteristics is the ability to work together and overcome adversity. Many Japanese I have paddled and trained with over the years have been strong and committed, with a creative ability to solve problems and develop intelligent- almost ingenious solutions. I pray for all of you to stay healthy, and keep working towards making things better. If there is something I can do, please email me. sam@eNRGkayaking.com

Sincerely,

-Sam Drevo

To my kayak friends in Japan who have been affected by this terrible disaster, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers each day. I still have such great memories of visitng Japan and kayaking with you all. I hope that you, your families and friends are safe. If there is any way I can help please let me know, I would very much like to give back some of the amazing hospitality I received from you all while I was in Japan.

Take care and be safe,

Jimmy Blakeney

Living in the outside of Japan limits my activities to Recovery Japan project, but will be keep doing my donation every months.

I had a chance to collect some cash by selling wrist band for Ganbatte Nippon which were created by someone in Salem Oregon at the North West Creeking Competition where I did safety, collected little over $70.00. My fellow kayakers in here PNW are also with you brothers and sisters in Japan!

God Bless and Keep your Heads UP!!!
